Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee organised their annual cultural fest Thomso from 31st October 2014 to 2nd November 2014. Mr. Mridul Verma, 4th Semester student of Mechanical Engineering department from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon was selected as the Campus Ambassador.

The duty of the campus ambassador was to promote the fest both online and offline to the students of Dronacharya College of Engineering and keep them updated with the latest news of the fest. The promotion was done by putting posters on the campus notice boards and by sharing online resources through social media sites.

The fest consisted of various events like Vogue, Poker, Corporata, Mr. & Mrs Thomso, Cry Photo frame, Cry Wish Zeppelin, Street Soccer, Qurisity: Mela quiz , Seiger, Literati: Stumped, Cry Sparsh, Apocalypse, NSS Nukkad Natak, EL Castilo, S.P. Jain workshop, Umang, Campus Princess Breifing, Battle Of bands, Cry - ball it in and TRI-FLES. There was DJ performance by DJ NYK.

The winners of the events were given award money and some special rewards as well. All the participants attending the fest were given a certificate of participation and the campus ambassadors from different colleges were rewarded with a certificate of appreciation along with gift vouchers.

Students thoroughly enjoyed the fest.
